Iran 'Bewilderment' to be on fest circuit

New Iranian offering ‘Bewilderment' is scheduled to hit the international festival circuit, director says.

Abbas Rafei told local media Friday that his latest flick has gained the screening license for Iranian cinemas, adding this will come along with its international festival submission.

Iranian artists Mahtab Keramati, Rana Azadivar, Alireza Aghakhani, Mohammad Reza Rahbar star in the film.

A middle class couple in contemporary Iran after 20 years of parting finds each other. To consolidate this love, they tie the fate of their children to a couple from different social background, ignoring that this is a prelude to the collapse of both families.

The pic will be released in Iranian cinemas after the holy month of Ramadan, the director also said.

One of the leading stars of the flick is Keramati who is quite well-known to ifilmers as they know her from 'Saint Mary', 'The Men of Angelos', 'Alzheimer’s' and 'The Fourth Child'.
